Default Rumor: Rare, Lionhead and turn 10 busy developing for Next-Gen Xbox

According to the “Insider” section of the latest issue of Xbox World magazine, Remedy and other Microsoft-friendly studios are currently working on titles for the company’s next-generation Xbox — with Alan Wake 2 leading the pack. Below are a few quotes from the section.

“We hear a number of Microsoft-friendly developers are hard at work on prepping next gen games as we speak,” “Could this be the reason why Remedy are so quiet about Alan Wake 2? (Yes)”

The magazine went on to say:

“Rare, Lionhead and Turn 10 all have teams in place too,” the magazine continued. “Rare, we hear, are even prototyping ideas for a new ‘mature title’.”

What do you think? A new mature title from RARE, Alan Wake 2, a next-gen Xbox, is there any truth to these rumors? Give us your thoughts below.

No not yet just a bunch of rumours floating around on the net and an apparent Xbox 720 development kit that looks much more like a PC than a console... Just rumours for now i guess, and to top it off they developing games for a console they dont have the paper specs for this should be interesting to see.

I am still enjoying my current Xbox 360, so they can take their time with the next one.

I suspect that Microsoft may want to show off some of these games late next year to promote the new XBOX for 2014.
