Yip it was $14.99 if I am not mistaken.
Sad but true DLC is the norm now and it pisses me off to be honest.

This is where activision and dice/ea fail.
We already pay a premium price for the game...but they then still milk us.
Hence the reason I never fell into buying Blops map packs.

If BLOPS wasn't such a shit game, I would have bought some more maps to play on. But sadly, the game was so bad, I didn't even want to play it on the maps it came with.

I'm really glad they are thinking about the future, but I really hope they don't "rush" these DLC's and let us enjoy and get used to each one before the next.

DICE might just be doing this because of their loss in sales with all the cancellations of pre-orders from the beta, probably to attract more people to not 'forget' about the game before they release it.

If a DLC gets released within a month or 2 after the game im gona be pissed off coz theres already so much to do and unlock it just seems they trying to milk us for more.

I hope they add more than just Maps with DLC. May aswell just call it a Map Pack then.. how about new weapon's, vehicles, gametypes etc.

Vietnam wasn't a map pack it was an expansion with a single player campaign, new maps, weapons, etc and this was after 7 free map packs. So I think it's fair to say DICE provided a good amount of after sale content for free, unlike COD where you fork out another $60 for 12 new maps.

Just saying I hope they don't go the COD route since that's one of the main reason I don't bother with those games.

Hopefully they release some free DLCs, because buying a game, and then buying what is essentially extra bits of the game that were left out, kind of sucks.

Just for the record, Vietnam didn't have a single-player campaign. And the other "Packs" weren't really map packs. It was just enabling content that was already in the game. For instance enabling rush to be played on some of the maps. The only "new" maps were harvest day and heavy metal. Which they reworked from BC1.

Anyway....doesn't matter. BF3's DLC will be extra maps, new ones. Which is good. All the game modes are included on all maps in the retail already, so we won't be seeing that trick again, like they did with BC2
