Dead Island PC patch staggers on to Steam

Last night me,xero,cyro and kiruna wanted to play but because of the stupid invite system slash quest system we had so much trouble that 2 people just gave up and well after all the struggle we where not keen on playing anymore.

Hope the next patch sorts the quest/joining out.

Almost a month late, and still doesn't fix a quarter of what needs to be fixed just to work as intended.

Yup. Seems about par for the course these days.
For the record... I still haven't seen 10 minutes of play in Rage either, despite Steam reporting my played time well over 9 hours...

Just before you hit the city you get a quest revolver. Then in the city you get your shotgun and assault rifle.

Dragonic I gave you the link the other day for a retail version of the game.

Yeh I got a revolver with one bullet in it, I assumed it was for me to go all suicidal :rolleyes:

Hey you asked when you getting guns never anything about the bullets :p

Ag in anycase you get bullets after you kill at least one human or at shops around the city.
 
Yes, as Waco pointed out, bugs have become a usual part of playing this game, actually, annoying to the point where playing the game, or at least, attempting to play the game turns into a lengthy and rather frustrating process. Often finding myself spending a good 15 minutes to half an hour negotiating with bugs while attempting to join a game with friends.

Either it won't launch entirely, or I would receive a black screen, unable to join games, flickering, won't launch with two monitors. That's just to actually start playing. Then we get to the in-game bugs, where does one start :/ Oh and yes, check out the screenshots of the game the other night Waco, Cyro, Amp and myself played, the missing textures etc. Although not a bug and not nearly as frustrating as some of the bugs.

On the good side, I enjoy it, but that may be just because of co-op.
