I've been playing WoW for about 3 months now and I am on level 76. I understand why some of the vets would be upset with the XP rate, but I don't really see the problem.
I have been to all the low level zones, got all my flight points and I would say I did nearly all the low level quests apart from the ones inside the instances (because I mostly solo)
Currently, I am still questing in the Grizzly Hills, even though I should be in some zone to the left of Northern End (nice jungle zone in the fozen wastes) but I dislike leaving a zone without finishing all the quests, but I think that WoW still gives you the choice if you want to do it or not.
For me, the choice is obvious, especially because this my first toon, and I would like to see everything there is to see. Second time around I might want to skip certain quest chains because the rewards is not that great, or the grind to get the item to complete the quest is too tedious.
I am not one to farm an instances over and over and over at 80 to get the bests possible gear, I just want to casually relax, drink my whiskey, smoke my cigarette and have fun ... and with that in mind I can say that WoW certainly still has a casual feel to it.
