And how exactly do they determine who had problems?
I downloaded the Beta twice from Origin only to have it fail right at the end and restarted the download. I also tried the .rar file which did not work. After that I gave up.
When I tried to access the website to express my dismay, I could not login, I struggled this whole week.
I can expect something like that from a new gaming company, but EA is suppose to be an experienced company and with Steam had the perfect example to work from.
I got my free game. Vroom vroom.
Would still like to know what happened.

Busy downloading my game right know. Also thought it was a scam in the beginning. Tried the code and it bombed, went to EA customer support and they gave me the working code for the game I wanted.Originally Posted by Pr⊕phet

I'm certainly not going to buy any games from Origin. So if that was their plan, they failed miserably and just lost R500. XDthey are reeling you in
And I probably won't even play ME2 (again) anytime soon, too busy. :/
Origin already uninstalled. ^_^
