    Gaming websites call shenanigans on reports of EA review meddling

    Turns out EA was not trying to wrangle favourable reviews for Battlefield 3

    As I said in

    http://mygaming.co.za/forum/showthre...-review-scores

    Well some guidelines before posting an article. Don't publish everything especially if it has the potential to harm a company image by another company.

    The article headline should have read "Norwegian publisher claims EA bribing reviewers for BF3". Some comments could be avoided by removing yourself from anyone associating Mygaming with the so called "scandal". Kind of funny, these types of headlines it like sextapes for not so popular review sites, they get all the publicity they need from publishing such an article.

    Just saying. was interesting though.

    LOL, well there is a difference between an opinion, and an accusation.

    I just went and read your previous comments and I must say I'm not sure what you are saying exactly. Where was the word 'bribe' used?

    MyGaming's headlines were pretty clear that there was no hard evidence of this:

    Forum headline: EA allegedly solicits favourable Battlefield 3 review scores

    The first thing I thought when reading the article was pretty much the same as what this commenter said;

    It should be obvious - EA politely asked them to withdraw their claims. (with a bit a muscle of course)
    But I'm not really sure. Guess we'll never really find out for sure.

    Would say EA is quite capable of doing that, but then again... who knows!?
