The first Microsoft retail stores will be ready to launch this fall, and boy, we can't wait to have a place where we can directly drop off our busted Xbox 360 and say, "You best fix this red-blinking demon box of manufacturing ineptitude!" We knew these brick-and-mortar shill shacks were coming back in February, but CNET is reporting that the first stores will open this fall, with some locations being opened right next to Apple stores.
Bless them, we wish Microsoft the best against Apple. We're totally going to spend one day counting the number of people bringing in a defective RRoD or E74 unit to be replaced.
