I love his sense of humor though i weep for his children one day as even i know that Hanna Montana and Hillary Duff are two completely differ [cash] cows.
As for the actual review. I could help but notice the visuals. Apparently the 360 version, only released here in December or there abouts, has better visuals than the PS3 edition. (Suck it Down PS3 Fanboi's) But then again no amount of visual stimulus is going to make up for bland gameplay. Like with the Dated Jokes, I rewatched the films recently and also found that what was funny back in the 80's early 90's just isn't as funny, or at all funny, as it was back then. The bland or repetitive gameplay, well i dont think there is much to be done. I mean its a game about busting ghosts. How many different ways is there really? It would also seem, like Rusty said, that they used Dead Space as inspiration as the Stasis stream, Slime Tether and Ammo/Health Display seems to have been cut directly from The brilliant space horror. I think we have the games difficult childhood to consider, it is one of these games that have been bouncing about for years and spent some time in dev hell. Had the game come out back in 98 or 2000 it would have been a smash hit. And if its ever released i fear the same thing for DNF or Duke Begins, what was cool back then wont be cool now/then.
