Dungeons and Dragons Online -
The event is called Mabar - Night of the Dead and a whole graveyard has come alive with the undead. They drop tokens which get turned in for Motes of Night. When enough have been turned in to Mr Pumpkinhead, he unlocks the path to the Spectral Dragon.

Man I loved DDO, miss it sometimes. They used to have some kick ass Halloween parties and goodies.
Aion's running the Harvest Revel over Halloween (http://uk.aiononline.com/harvest-revel )
It consists of a series of repeatable quests, with rewards ranging from various in-game items to special event costumes, as pictured below:The Harvest Revel runs from Wednesday, October 26th, 2011 to Wednesday, November 9th, 2011, and is a celebration of spooky fun. Last year, the Pumpkin King's plans were thwarted by a gang of cheeky Sugarcrooks, and this year old pumpkinhead is nowhere to be seen. But we're sure the witches in Sanctum and Pandaemonium can have nothing to do with that. And we're equally sure that they have only the best, most noble reasons for having you collect souls on their behalf.

How is Aion nowadays ? Haven't played in a long long time when the grinding got the better of me.
Quite nice to see so many of the MMO's featuring events still. I kinda miss it![]()
Easier to level, easier to make money, but on the flip-side things have gotten a lot more expensive - there are several billionaires on my server alone. Grinding's still present - and so is elitism unfortunately. Also, if you are not wearing epic PvP gear when bumping into someone of the opposite faction you may as well just stand still and wait to die ... it usually doesn't take more than 2 or 3 seconds.
Sounds like my previous experience with the PvP side of things, may look into getting subbed again to check things out. I loved the animations and general graphics of the game. The downfall really was that grouping in some areas that is such a big must just never worked out very well. What size is the client these days ?
Ummm ... completely wild guess? I'd say somewhere in the range of 17 - 20GB - I'm not sure how much the last patch added. I'll have to check for you when I get back home.
There are plenty of rumours about the 3.0 patch floating around already - all the indications are that it's going to be huge. I've already floated down to the new housing area (killing myself twice in the process) below Sanctum - there's a lot of space down there. Mounts and vehicles are also being introduced based on a couple of screenies I've seen of the Korean patch-notes.
My guess is though, we're in for at least a 5 or 6 month wait before we see it go live - the English translation of the patch-notes sits somewhere near 40 pages.
Eina! Might be a good idea to wait for the 3.0 patch going live then since I won't have a 50 ready by then anyway. May as well enjoy the game from a new perspective then with all the changes.
I always take part in wow's Halloween festival
