Steam Issues
Hi there Community,
Is anyone else having issues logging into Steam? It seems that I cannot even connect to the Support website on steampowered.com.
Any ideas are welcome. I just need to get online. I use Web Africa as my ISP. Looked at heir site and they don't seems to have issues with steam.
Also, disabled and enabled firewall, but still no luck.
Have you tried using another computer to log in? How long have you been having this issue?Originally Posted by Alastorr

I'm currently logged in and no issues. You could try the blob fix it sometimes works:
1) close down steam completely
2) go to the steam directory
3) remove clientregistry.blob
4) restart steam
It goes to update and then hopefully you are in.
However if you can't browse to www.steampowered.com then something else is wrong. router reboot ? google dns ?

It seems there was a problem with WA today, couldn't log in battelog, gmail, steam, origin

Yeah definately something in the air. Couldn't log into steam or gmail.
What czc now makes perfect sense.
Give that man a bells.
Seems that there is an issue with WA. If you look at their status page it seems as if the SAT3 cable has a break in it at the landing station in Portugal.
I can't log in with WA or Afrihost, doubt it's any issue with Steam.
Edit: Just managed to get in now.
