I am planning to go for Windows7 when it drops. Will probably be using it in August already.

Price won't be too bad if buying it with a system. It is normally cheaper compared to buying it as a full retail product.

This year is upgrade time, so I started checking for some new laptops... I did a brief spec and it came to more than R50K! I cannot believe how much laptops have gone up in price!
What the mind can conceive, it can achieve.

I'm switching to Win7 x64 when I buy my P5N-D mobo and be forced to format... I would've bought it next month but seeing as Win7 is coming out in two months I'll buy it in Oct.
People I've spoken to have no problems. Only problem with gaming is PB, and I'm sure PB is looking at that problem.

Yes but there are restrictions with the dsp compared to the retail version.

I will be getting home premium retail the moment it drops. Been very impressed with win 7 x64 so far. Only issue I have is with neverwinter nights but I have been told its fixed with one of the newer leaks .

What a decent OS compared to Vista... One can compare this OS with the likes of XP.
Stable, reliable, quick, smooth and elegant!
    What an experience!
    I love Windows 7!
