This is great news. I loved the old dos game and 1 or 2 of the other versions as well. I reckon this will be a lot of fun.
Cool! Its been ages since I've played a Mechwarrior game. I loved Mechwarrior 2:31st century combat. I tried Mechwarrior 3 but my pc at the time wasn't up to scratch. If the specs for the online version aren't too hectic, I'd be keen to check it out.

I remember seeing the trailer for this reboot a year or so ago.

Wow, haven't seen these in AGES! I loved the original MW games, purely because you cannot not like running around in huge mechs destroying everything around you
Will be interesting to see the online adaptation for this. Hopefully my ADSL is fixed by the time I do get home
Some news on Mechwarrior online. They're going to be using CryEngine 3 for the game so it should look pretty good (better than in the video in my previous post). Interesting trivia: this will be "technically" the second Mech game to use a version of CryEngine, can you guess which is the first?
