Zalman CPU fan (I honestly cant remember the model)
22" Samsung 2 ms response time, also cant remember th emodel number, will edit later when Im at home
All in all its served me very well over the past two or so years, but it is getting a bit tired.
I'm thinking for my next upgrade I'm going to replace everything.
Something like this:
CPU
Either the Phenom II 920, Intel E8500 or Q9650. I know they are hugely different CPUs. The new Phenoms are just awesome IMO, with the 920 offering great value. Intel's E8500 offers exeptional price/performance especially for gaming, and the Q9650 jsut lost like $220 off its US retail price, so if I can find one locally for the reduced price then that will most likeyl be the winner.
GPU
Also a tricky one. I really like the HD 4870X2, but then the regular 4870 1Gb is also very tempting and may be the more sensible option. There is also Nvidia's GTX 260 216 which I like a lot. So this is a toughy.
I haven't done any recent research on Mobos, but there was a Biostar monster overclocker that caught my eye a few months back, can't remember the model now. Then Ill whack 4GB DDRII 1066 (I think, also up for deliberation), and hopefully get one of those 80GB Intel solid state hard drives for my OS along with a 500GB seagate storage drive.
I also want to get the quietest possible CPU fan. My current Zalman does a good job with the cooling, but its crazy loud.
