I think the issue is, human emotion, any fake or real images/videos/info etc can invoke strong emotions, some of anger, love, hate etc i think the main problem some people have is controlling those emotions and reminding themselves none of it is real, for instance i have never seen so many people in tears at the end of the movie "Armageddon" it was'nt real but it invoked strong emotion, as does this video above(the MW3 ofcourse) the other video also invokes emotion...laughter etc

Lol i think they (Activision) is some of the smartest people on earth to be honest. Ive enjoyed every single COD title ive played both SP and MP bar COD3 which was pretty bad.

I dont see what they have done which has made the gaming industry so "bad".

Modern Warfare 3 [spoiler] sparks controversy

SPOILERS - will this explosive “leaked” video spawn another 'No Russian' controversy?

Ehhh, I'm just kind of jaded with games trying to "push the boundaries" when it comes to stuff like this; sure, it's realistic - people die, children die, babies die.

It's a part of the world we live in - I just think it's a cheap trick to make people go GASP HOW COULD THEY DO THAT. After all, I'm sure the coverage from the "No Russian" controversy was quite a media boost for Activision.

Unless you're playing as that dad - and the death of his family is motivation to push the story forward (which is doubtful) - I feel like it's just sensationalism.

    Bleh.

People should not be so easily offended, honestly. Game story lines or plots may become a little boring at times. I remember the airport shooting. I was shocked and then went ahead and help gun down some people There's age restrictions on games for a reason if you young or have young kids that are easily influenced then parents are to blame when their kids go to school and pull a "Columbine" because of FPS. Finish and Kla.

But do you really think those parents will ever be smart enough and say "...oh... well maybe it IS my poor parenting that's causing my child to behave this way."? Nope, they'll keep blaming other people/things. Sad. I feel sorry for those children to have such poor parents.

Heh... ok... I will one-up this little incident, and dare each and every one of you to watch the movie "Unthinkable".

Cmon. You heard me. I DARE YOU!

Tell me when that movie is over if you would kill a kid...

I dont understand. Who wants to kill a kid?

And to answer your question if i was in Samuel L's position and that was my job i would do whatever it takes to stop what was to unfold. Someone has to do the dirty stuff to make your nice life possible.
