I have to agree, Forza is the best split screen racing game. As for other multiplayer games, Mortal Kombat is awesome (even though it's not split screen) and the Halo games are also nice with Co-op.

If you want absolutely free and something that offers up to 4 players split screen but don't mind if it's not a pure racing game (i.e. it isn't an F1 racing game but perhaps a Death Rally-type racing game) then check out Harms Way - http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-GB/Pr...5-d80258410a70

The beauty of this is players are paired up with an AI / human-controlled turret team-mate that blasts the opposition to smithereens while you race against each other to the finish, also dodging their turrets' efforts along the way. Great fun and totally free!

Wow, it looks really fun. Going to keep that game in mind. My brother is the xbox player, so going to tell him to get this game.

    Thanks

If we are talking general split screen games for Xbox 360 then I have to recommend these:

    * Minecraft (up to 4 player split screen, drop-in/drop-out)
    * Left4Dead (up to 2 player split screen, drop-in/drop-out and with online / offline support)

Of course, there are others too, but these two really achieve great-value for money with loads of hours of replayability!

... then again, I don't think we're supposed to be talking about just any split screen games since the original poster wants to know about racing games...
