Seriously, if killing a rat that doesn't actually exist is bad, what about cartoons? Plenty of violence against virtual animals there. Poor Tom and Jerry having to try kill each other for the amusement of children. And Elmer Fudd, always trying to kiw da wabbit. Wile E Coyote?

I have an idea. We write the game devs and tell them to replace any and all animals in games with PETA activists.

If they complain we can always just say "Well hey, at least we're not stabbing rats!!"
