As first i thought the game would be slow when compared to something like The Witcher 2 (which i enjoyed thoroughly) but Skyrim is actually awesome!
I'm only at the beginning so it can only get better, my Dark Elf is like a barbarian when it comes to melee, certainly didn't expect that.

Just wish i had more carrying capacity, i'm a horder. I slow walked from Helgen to Riverwood coz i didnt want to throw away potential gold, lol

I either dump it in an empty chest and make a quick fast travel trip home and back or i load my poor Lydia to the brim.

Is it just me or is it extremely easy to get into contact with both the Dark Brotherhood & Thieves Guild? In Oblivion you had to be in a certain graveyard at a specific hour, Dark Brotherhood you had to murder someone (anyone) stealthily or something.

You're right. I did a quest that sounded like it could lead me to the Dark Brotherhood and it did. The thieves guild one just kind of fell into my lap. I was hoping the requirements would be similar to that of Oblivion. Oh well...

Maybe too many people couldn't find it in Oblivion & so they decided to make it a bit more straight forward...

I still maintain Dark Souls/Skyrim Hybrid would be EPIC!

    Haha, timmeh!
The j00 in me shows its head every so often.

Then i get to Riverwood and empty the trader and blacksmiths gold, now i have no one to sell my items too :/
I'm using my companion as a luggage trolly. Do they ever go away if you don't tell them to? What happens if they die?

If they die, they are dead, first point xD

Secondly you can retrieve all your stuff from their bodies. Mine died yesterday in a dungeon, my fault apparently. She ran into my shouts while taking damage from Draugr. So I got kicked out of the mage guild.

But you can get your stuff back, bodies don't go away, they stay there forever.

    On a totally unrelated topic.

I hate the favourites system in Skyrim. It sucks ass!

I suggested to some modders to make a better system and hopefully we'll see something like that soon.
here's a mockup of what I want for the Favourites system.
