Ok so how will AC3 then take place in the same era if Ubisoft has confirmed this is the last time Ezio will be the main protagonist?

This is the last game to be set in the Renaissance era and use Ezio

Maybe it'll be based on the memories of Desmond's ancestor from Africa. I remember hearing or reading somewhere that his ancestors were from all these random places. Or maybe it'll be about an Aborigine killing off the sheep shaggers of the future...

Played it for a couple hours last night, feels very much like Brotherhood thus far but slightly tweaked. There's a whole new system of bomb-making which looks awesome, and the new combat animations are particularly savage (stick sword in dude's face, use it to snap his neck 180 degrees, retrieve sword).

Story-wise I can't say much yet, but from early on there's a strong sense that this is the chapter to conclude the tale.

Now to keep going until I get the hook blade!

Lol, or it could be set in ancient china or japan and introduce some ninja or samurai moves

I bought it. I've yet to play 2 or Brotherhood, but I couldn't resist the thought of having all 4 games so far. I'll have to wait until Christmas to even played AC2 but I'm quite excited.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat as you
Did anyone manage to pick up the AC:R Collector's Ed? Is it worth it?

Oh and I forgot to mention I was quite surprised by the inclusion of the soundtrack. I've always loved the music in Assassin's Creed.

True. The tracks in AC have always been impressive.
It's done by Jesper Kyd if I'm not mistaken
