Many of us were led to believe that the development of the Ghostbusters video game was done using the PlayStation 3 as the lead console. Brendon Goss, Executive Producer at Terminal Reality (Ghostbusters developers), claimed they had built an engine, the Infernal Engine, which was designed to make the most the PS3s processing power.
Despite this obvious hype, now that reviews of the game have been distributed, Lens of Truth have run a comparison test between the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game and the results are disturbing. Judging by the video and screenshots, the Xbox 360 version seems to wipe the floor with the PS3.
There are a high number of problems ranging from very low texture resolutions, to poor quality shaders, which often don’t even display shadows on the PS3 iteration.
A number of nay-sayers are claiming foul play on Lens of Truths part, what do you guys think? Check out their video below and decide for yourselves:

No matter what the outcome, Just Video Games will be giving has a
full review of the PlayStation 3 version of Ghostbusters shortly, so stay tuned for our views on this adventure soon.
Update: Well, it would appear that the PS3 version can only muster 480p resolution while the Xbox 360 manages to comfortably churn out 720p HD video, sheer disappointment.
