Honestly, who didn't see that coming? They look amazing, they're new, it's something interesting for players to try and it's appealing to newer WoW players because it seems to be the coolest outta the lot.

Any SANE person would pick Shaman :P
Couscous; the food so nice they named it twice

Just as WotLK released I made it my main...

    BIIIIG mistake!

There was so much competition for raid spots and gear. In the end it was one of the reasons I quit WoW this time for good.

One thing I loved about playing a DK was I managed to always get top tier DPS on meters
Not sure how much has changed since I quit a few months back, but a well played DK back then could DPS really well in raids (most didn't even truly realize what it could).

I always thought Blizz needed to have added 2 Hero classes instead of just one. Or maybe even have added one into TBC as well at release.

Anyways. F! WoW, I won't go back EVER AGAIN!

I like my DK, it is alot of fun to play. Now that it dinged 80, I do not play it as much, but rather concentrate on leveling my mage. To be honest, DK's are not that overpowered anymore, a well played character can take out a similar level DK quite nicely.

It's damn near impossible for me to take out a DK with my rogue...with 700 resilience, I only stand a chance if the DK is a freshie or is played by an uber-noob.

I dispise DK's ... they also ninja all my gear.

I've never liked 'em...although I still manage to out-DPS everything aside from the occasional top-end mage or survival hunter with superior gear than mine.

DK's & WotLK Pallies took all the effectiveness out of the rock-paper-scissors scenario that WoW had going rather well when it came to classes being classes beating classes.

I've also hung up my WoW account and deleted my 20GB folder. I'm concentrating on real-life stuff atm, as well as finishing off more and more of my old single player / console games.

I do however have Prophecies and Nightfall on Guild Wars that I need to attend to. Still only lvl10 on either campaign.

Well I got back into wow a month or so ago... started from scratch, tried the dk thing but it's the most horrible character for me to play. I really just don't like it. TBH i think blizz made the range of spells available to a DK a bit to wide. It's got something from everything in it.

    Boomkin FTW!

    Aion is looking good though!

Personally I feel that GW is a better than wow on the whole.

Thing is Aion is more like WoW than like GW. The only similarity is that they are both being published by the same company, but not developed by the same one.

To be honest I am playing GWs now, and I am more into it than I ever have been; its just I feel there is a lack of meaningful longterm goals. Getting Titles... umm, I don't really care. Getting fancy armors... again, looks cool, but adds nothing.
