Well anyway. I don't think you can change it either way. If you have a DX11 card it will default to DX11 and same goes for a DX10 card.

Running mine on ultra and it is ultra smooth since I upgraded my machine.

Not sure of FPS, haven't installed fraps yet, but I would guess around 60 - 70.

I play it on Ultra @ over 100FPS even during hectic firefights. Smooth as butter. It helps alot to have SLI.

Press Ctrl + Alt + S for an ingame view. Just do it where you won't get shot.

Agreed. That is an antique. Those things go for big money now. Surprised you don't get better frames from it. I would have thought you would at least get 250FPS on BF3 ultra.

Playing on high with 40-60FPS (depending on condition and map, huge firefights usually drop me to 30fps when rockets ETC. hit.) at 1080p on:

    MSI Radeon HD6870
    i5-2300 @ 2.80 GHz
    4 gig DDR3 RAM
    Asus P8P67-M pro

    Freezes Per Second

I have a gtx480 SO (yes it is noisy) with vsync I only see a drop from 60fps every now and then on ultra with AA on.

"multiplatform"... the word that ruins games for PC gamers.
