I wasn't too impressed with RFG, but then again I played it on the PS3 and it had terrible scaling and aliasing issues. Eyes Bleeding = Not happy time.

Personally I'm quite happy with the UE3 being the "standard" that a lot of people are using these days. All Epic needs to do is develop the tech for allowing destructible world objects and everything will be peachy.

I head bad things about RFG. I was referring to the destruction. The ability to destroy a building realistically.

He didn't say that the hardware was outdated, just that the engine was coded to suit the architecture of the other platforms.

Fanboys and haters alike can say what they please, but for every bad thing that happens to Platform A there's an equivalent amount of kak stuff happening for Platform B.

Well i didnt quite mean it like that but the article makes it sound like the Hardware is outdated... yeh i can understand it being a coding thing.... and i totally agree when u say when kak happens to console A then the same thing is bound to happen to console B as they are pretty much on the same basis of coding and all that.... but this should be interesting to see what the outcome of this little exercise will be once Sony see that they have a slight problem on their hands...

And this is why I will continue, as long as my wallet holds out, to own multiple gaming platforms. If a game sucks on a specific platform, well there is always the others! Also I get to bite into all of the juicy exclusives!

But man is this strategy a killer on ones bank balance and free time...

Are you talking about this id title in particular or all games? As mentioned on a similar thread on MyBB. You don't see Konami moaning about MGS or Polophony bitching about GT5. I think the blame lies purely with this game house being more comfortable with developing on Microsoft based platforms.
