Thanks for the interesting read and vid there Omega damn dude its awesome to think on what the future of gaming is prepared to look like. Think about playing FPS games and u becoming the character that requires every bit of your body motion
What i also found quite interesting is that the interactive player that those people were using, actually adapts to your bodily emotion as well as your..... how can i say it..... personality which i think in my own oppinion is going to take the world by storm...
It's also as you said, then comes in the images of gloves and goggles, therefore allowing the player to see everything from where they are standing and move around interactively....
The thing that also comes to mind is, remember when you watched the first or the second Terminator movie John Conner was in the Arcade playing with a VR simulator which picked up on your body movements... I reckon thats where Lionhead got some of their ideas fromoh and there was another movie based on the same concept called The 13th Floor the movie with that paradox where the person couldnt distinguish between reality and a simulator...
But I guess thats where the world will eventually come to, where everyone pretty much sits most of the time and everything they see and hear will mostly be from Interactive simulations...
Remember when I started that thread a while back talking about how parents blame us for the violence that is affecting the planet. Well guess what I can bet you now that, they are going to turn against Project Natal and say the character that my boy/girl who they have been interacting with told them to go out on a killing spree...
But just to end off this is the new future of gaming as we know it... at first it will be expensive but before we even realise it this new feature of gaming is going to top the charts.
Oh and one more thing they might have got their ideas from were from the late TV show Sliders where they ended up in a world where you had online users and offline users and those who were online lived their lives based on VR and Interactive Simulations.
Thats my input![]()

I agree with you that if it goes this way people will blame it more for violence but that is just one of those things, don't let your 12 yr old play COD then coz it will screw him up.
Thnx for the feedback Syco.
No worries I would have given a bit more but i dont wanna bore people to death lol....but ja im pretty getting at that There are obviously going to be major improvements not only to the way we play our games... but to our consoles as well.... its also possibly the way of Interactive communication as we know it and soon after that its going to be online chatting and gaming but instead of seeing a character in the game ur gonna see a friend and their entire body running around shooting the enemy

PPL who go out an harm other people in real life are Psycho in any case. It's the person, not the game.
Wait... what?
I have few questions
If i am super unfit and can only jump 2cm high will my virtual character also only jump 2cm?
and how they doing running and walking?
This is an opinion piece i wrote after seeing the Milo vid. Obviously your ingame character wont be limited to your own physical capabilities, imagine how much that would suck.
I would imagine the would use's Natal's depth perception capabilities. Example: Gamer leans forward slightly, character walks forward, player leans forward more character runs. Turning the players body turns the characters body. Or something like that.
Thats pretty crazy!!!
It looks very interesting, but I would feel like such a fool busy waving my arms around in a swimming pool that doesn't exist!!!! hehehehe
