Assassin’s Creed Revelations PC gets a day-one patch

I think it's the publishers fault, asking the developer to commit to a release date, even though the game is sent out for DVD print and distribution a week earlier, the developers make use of that time to polish up, it gives them roughly an extra week at the most to iron out any issues, and then release their fixes as a day 1 patch. You can't really blame the developers, you have to point a finger at the Publisher. I personally think a gaming franchise of AC's size would hold out the extra week or two, to release a polished product. But day 1 patches have just become widely accepted it seems, it's not like people won't buy the game on release day.

Ubisoft need to catch a wake up.
