I like the idea of Assassins Creed for a long time, but i am afraid that this game will get boring if there is too much of the same... They need to make it better than the current with awesome plotlines and great game play... Otherwise this is going to be a series that looses fans faster than it gain them.

Hmmm invariably, one can't change too much all at once. It's kinda like taking an FPS and then telling it to suddenly turn into and RTS game. That is always a bad move. What they have works. I think people are just growing tired of the series because of it's annual release cycle. If they let it lay low for a while all will be well. I kinda like the system and it works well. More could be added. But it is up to Ubisoft to decide the route the AC series takes after AC 3. Let's hope they choose the best option (letting it lay low and improve the engine)

That would be a great idea, if AC3 only shows its face beginning 2013 and no game get release this 2012, thus giving us the illusion of a 2year gap... i be happier then.

Yeah, thats exactly how I feel.
Played AC2 and then Brotherhood, and now I feel like I'm burnt out on the whole AC franchise.

Only started with Brotherhood a couple of months back, still haven't gotten back to it. And now Revelations it out as well, which I'll probably only get to once AC3 is out. Need moar time!

Agreed, they need to take the core concept and the now polished mechanics and transplant them into a completey new setting. I.e. A futuristic reimagining or perhaps a more modern, terrorist/anti-terrorist sort of thing (ala James Bond:Casino Royale). Otherwise it's just going to die out.

    I am indeed.
But I am also a little more rational than that...

I said that the whole piracy thing was their little scapegoat to more rampant whoring, and seems I was right. Not even 2 weeks later were turning AC into CoD...
