    Default Cybersmart for gaming

Hi Guys, I use Cybersmart as my ISP. I have experienced a lot of lag recently when playing on xbox live. Is this a common problem with Cybersmart? Thanks

It shouldn't be, Cybersmart accounts are unshaped so gaming shouldn't be bad.
Maybe it has to do with the XBL updates.

That is the thing, it was before the updates. During the day the lag is to much to play, it only got better after 7pm over the last week. What ISP do you have?

I use MWEB, haven't had any lag to complain about.

I have an SAOL account which is part of the Cybersmart group and it is completely unusable for gaming.

Thanks a lot. I will appreciate it. I am struggeling to play full games (Rugby Challange) as people quit on me due to the lagging.

Have you tried contacting Cybersmart support? They used to be quite helpful when I was still with them.

Cybersmart has the worst support of any company that I have ever encountered. Their site is useless, I just upgraded from 384k to 1Meg, and the confirmation I got was "request sent", not even an "are you sure" or anything.... They need to spend some serious time and money to get these things in order.

Yet, I am still with them for my ADSL, because the prices are good and when ADSL works, it just works(this is not what makes a good company, it's how they handle their crises, which they clearly cannot)...
