    I'm specifically looking for something that isn't too time consuming. Maybe I'll try Ikariam, as Graal suggested.

    I see a lot of people playing Dark Orbit on xfire. If space games are your thing then you might want to try that out.

    I'm actually thinking of starting again sometime, but I'll probably only do it after the holidays are over. What I love about Ikariam is that it is relatively safe to leave your town alone for large amounts of time. In Travian if you don't check up on your town at least once a day you can expect to lose all your resources to raids.

    I won't be able to check everyday, but on most days I'd be able to check in every hour or so, but I also don't want to spend all my time on it, I've got work to do too

    Something where I can spend on average an hour a day would be perfect.

    I stayed away from wow all my life because I'm shit scared of losing my life. Wow is worse than heroin.
