I am a lover of Hard Sci-Fi, IMHO, any other ending would have insulted the memory of Shepard. Plus, again IMO, any one that describes the disappointing ending of any game as "Soul Crushing" needs to get laid, ASAP. I'm about 18 hours in, and so far it one fat slice of awesome.
I guess i'll have to wait and judge for myself.
