I then restarted the game a futher 2 times with different characters/classes but again lost interest before even the halfway mark. I recently restarted again on PC, but then found the loading times and controls really frustrating and just decided to get it on PS4 instead.

Even though I knew most of the game from my time spent on the PC version, I still had a good time on the PS4. I did start to loose interest again, but I managed to push through it and just finish the game. I do however feel that this game has WAY too much padding and quests just for the sake of giving the player something to do. In the later stages of the game I only did like one or two quests per area just so I didn't feel like I skipped areas. I finished it in less than 25 hours with my character at level 18 and I only killed one dragon. I know that I missed out on a lot of content, but I just didn't feel like doing sidequest after sidequest after the game started feeling like a chore. I doubt I'll go back to this character to finish up quests and hunt dragons and such, but I did start another playthrough with a class I haven't played before. This time I will take my time and explore all the areas and try to do as many quests as possible. I'm basically just gonna play it on my off days to keep me occupied until Bloodborne comes out.

Overall I'd still give the game 8/10. It's a great RPG with a good story and big world to explore, but there really is too much padding in the sidequests to extend the overall length of the game.
Repetitive dungeons like in # 2? Still want to get this sometime and I see it's on special now. Looking out for a 2nd hand copy as well, so maybe once you are done let me know if you want to sell?

Nah, nothing like that at least. The environments are actually one of the most impressive aspects of the game. Really varied, large open areas to explore, with a few dungeons here and there. Although the fact that you have to fast travel between them does "cheapen" the feel of the world a bit IMO. I think if you get this game and play nothing else while playing it and are happy with your character you are going to have a hell of a time playing it.

Cool man, will let you know if I decide to sell mine. If I do (which is very likely since I already have a copy on PC), it will only be towards the end of March so I can use the money for Bloodborne.

Cool, thanks and if I do come right with a copy I will let you know.

    Dragon Age: Inquisition - 9/10
Pretty awesome game. Combat and gameplay took me a while to get used to, but once I got, things went great. Game took forever to complete. Played using mouse and keyboard. As far as I'm concerned, Bioware / EA did this game. They gave us a complete game without all the extra day-1 DLCs like they did with the Mass Effect and older Dragon Age games. I was actually quite impressed with that. Other than that, the gameplay and story was great, ending was fine and I'll play the game again sometime in the future (when I have lots of time available), choosing different startup parameters and making different choices. Didn't touch the multiplayer component.
I actually prefer this game to Skyrim due to the stronger story.

No guts, no glory, no brain, same story.

    Galaxy on Fire 2 HD - 5/10
It wasn't really good or bad. The game felt extremely average. At least I've managed to finish one of my Steam backlog games in one weekend, so yay. Was in the mood for a Freelancer-type game so this scratched that itch. Moving on.

No guts, no glory, no brain, same story.

Rogue Legacy (PS4) - 8/10. Finally managed to beat the boss. Still playing new game+ to clean up a few trophies.

I lost count how many times I have died, but the game kept me from playing my other "AAA" games. Had a few moments where I wanted to throw the controller, but all good in the end.

    Final Fantasy XIII

I'm 28 hours into Final Fantasy XIII and I'm stopping. A game shouldn't feel like a chore and believe me I had to convince myself to play FFXIII each time. The characters are boring stereotypes and I feel nothing for them. The story doesn't grab you at all. The worst is that the game basically goes like this:
Fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, cutscene, save, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, cutscene, save....
And the fighting isn't fun. It's a cool little system in theory but it's insanely boring.

It may appeal to some people though.

    Ori and the blind forest.

This game was amazing. The sound, the art, the tight controls. Everything was beautiful. The story is sad as shit. The platforming and leveling up was great and it was extremely fun going back to look for secrets and power ups i might have missed. I highly recommend it to anyone with an xbox.

    9.5

Only reason im not giving ten is because of a few bugs i experienced that forced me to quit and go in again.

Will be playing this a few more time just because of how fun it was.

    Murdered: Soul Suspect - 7/10
I quite liked this, mostly for the story though and I thought the ending was pretty cool. Bit of a short game which is fine since I think had they dragged this out, it might have become boring. Just the demons were quite irritating.
I picked it up for R124 on special at Gamersgate. Money well spent. All in all, not sure if I would have been as happy had I paid full price for it. While a very interesting game, for me to pay normal price for a game, it must take me more than a day to complete.

No guts, no glory, no brain, same story.
