Knytt Underground and Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet have a lot of similarities. They look very similar, have big maps to explore and even feels very similar. However Knytt is a platformer and Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet is a puzzle shooter. Neither of the games managed to grab me. I tried both, looking for a relaxing atmospheric game like the Knytt games of old. Yet both ended up frustrating me.
Dare I say it? It just requires too much effort with too little reward in return. I want something more relaxing, more casual. Or I want to be rewarded a great deal for making it past something. There are a ton of games out there and I just feel that games these days must really be good to hold my attention. There are so many good games and this is not one of them.
