Seriously don't get all the hate the game got to be honest. Not the best game ever, but by no means the turd some made it out to be. Guess it's a case of different strokes for different folks. The short game was also a welcome change from the last few games that I have played (Dragon Age, Witcher 3). Started Batman last night, and also have Dying Light on my playlist after getting it in a trade. So many games, so little time.
Dota 2 - 5/10
I dunno how to score Dota 2 as it's FTP so you loose nothing by trying it out. After getting into the MOBA genre with Heroes of the Storm (Which I adore! - 9/10) Dota 2 is just so boring... You spend forever doing nothing but getting last hits for what seems like 20mins! I tried to be friendly in both the international and South African chat channels and asked for a coach (etc...) but got told to get cancer and uninstall Dota 2 as it needs no more n00bs. I thought Saffers would be different tbh. So I have a mate that jams League of Legends every day and he's gonna show me the ropes in LoL, it's just a pity about Dota 2...
"All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, to make it possible."

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter Redux
The first thing that most people will say when they see this game is that it looks absolutely beautiful. The Redux version uses Unreal Engine 4 and the game looks spectacular. Most of the game you'll walk around and just admire everything around you. And if you don't like doing that then this game is probably not for you.
It's a walking simulator with a couple of puzzles thrown in and those who only like action games should steer clear. If you do like walking simulators then this game isn't bad. It starts off great, becomes a bit mediocre and then finishes off great again. The ending makes the game in my opinion.
I'm not going to write too much now since it's too damn hot but this is the kind of game for people who liked Gone Home.
7.9
Also busy playing this. Feels laggy on my laptop even with everything turned down completely, which seems a little odd. (960M). Others on the steam forums are reporting the same. Will probably delete it and try the UE3 version because lagginess kills immersion for me.
I find the puzzles to be pretty annoying due to lack of guidance tbh. i.e. You need to do something to trigger the next part, but it doesn't tell you that something is missing (never what). It really needs something like Skyrim's clairvoyance spell that marks the next 3m you should be moving.
5/10 thus far. Should improve if I get the lag to stop.

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime (Xbox One - Indie Game)
8/10
Came across Lovers in a Dangerous Space Time on the Xbox store and decided to give it a go. We love indie games and especially ones that make it extremely fun but simple. We got sucked into this game as it is purely co-op (Can play single player). The playablity and psychedelic nature of the game makes it so much fun to play.
The story is quite cheesy and it may look a bit childish but its hours of fun with a mate as it revolves around a 2D space ship with different gun stations, shield operator and driver of this round spaceship. You need to navigate through a specific map where you have got to save your friends in order to open the time warp portal to the next level. You can upgrade guns etc when moving on in the game which reveals some interesting and fun weapons.
The object of the game is that it takes two to tango, you need to work together as the ship is round and guns can only reach a certain area of the ship so communication is key and it gets quite intense. Single player makes you order your "Space Pet" around to different parts of the ship.
Must say, check it out, lots of fun on the couch with your Mrs or a mate coming over to visit.
We will be featuring it in our next video thats coming out tomorrow so if you want to check it out pop us a visit.

Forza Horizon 2
There's something exceptionally relaxing about Forza Horizon 2. Just sit back and drive. The game is a lot more arcady than the Forza Motorsport series which makes for some fun driving and racing. There's also a lot to do! I didn't do nearly as much as I could have but I just bought Forza 6.
So I basically finished the Championship and did some of the bucket run challenges. It's great value for money and I can see myself playing it again.
Truth be told though I preferred Forza 5 to this though. So if you find Forza 6 to be too expensive then as much fun as Horizon 2 is, it's just not as entertaining as Forza 5. I prefer tracks for some reason.
Okay, really crappy review but I quickly had to write something at work.
