Cool Small project build..Help me pick a cpu

    Hey guys

I plan on doing a project build this December and as I have already spent a fortune on pc parts xD I'll be going with 2nd hand parts for this build.

What I wanna know what would be the best option

    Project 1:

    i7 920 @ 4Ghz
    Gigabyte X58A-UD3R
    Apogee GT Blazer Series Memory Modules--DDR3 2000 6GB (3X2GB)
    2x 5870 in Crossfire

    Project 2:
    Xeon E5540 @ 4Ghz
    Gigabyte X58A-UD3R
    Apogee GT Blazer Series Memory Modules--DDR3 2000 6GB (3X2GB)
    2x 5870 in Crossfire

This will be fitted to a customized chassis with some other bits and bobs.

For myself and for the online shop.
I want something unique and different for the front page of the website, which by the way will be including you're rig once I get the go ahead on that

AWSOME , when are you starting with the store ?. Just a random question but, don't sandy bridge CPUs only support 1333mhz ram ?

Well hopefully it will be up and running by march next year.
As for the question, this project is based on socket 1366 not Sandy bridge mate
As for the next part, although sandy bridge runs default 1333 Mhz, you can still overclock the ram to run at higher speeds.
