I recently got a LCD tv and noticed a stuck pixel, I then heard a vicious rumour that it can breed more stuck pixels. Sounds ridiculous to me but is it true?
It would be cool to remove it but it honestly doesn't bother me unless it creates more.

I had a dead pixel on a previous monitor... It has been a couple of years now and it is still just that one dead pixel. (although a dead and stuck pixel is not exactly the same thing).

They don't say anything about it spreading, but they do say that the problem can correct itself as well as mentioning a couple of "fixes"... although, just to warn you... the "fixes" basically consist of giving the screen a light massage or tolerating it until it disappears

Haven't tried it yet, keeping it for when the need arise, which hopefully won't be soon.
I have a stuck pixel on my iPhone. I'm just going to take it in and make them give me a new one. I'm shore if you TV is New they will fix it under warranty.

No, the sad thing is actually that you need a group of dead pixels close to each other and of a certain size, to be deemed a fault so that they will repair it under warranty. I remember when a mate bought a brand new TV with 3 dead pixels, and they would not replace it for him (not the shop or manufacturer, Sony).
Ah yes, the dead/stuck pixel annoyance. That's one of the few advantages that plasma has over LCD panels. Plasma TV's have no dead/stuck pixels. Win
The down side of plasma's are the risk you run burning and image into your screen. This can be avoided as stuck/dead pixels can't.
