Default Why is there no forum user integration between MyBroadband and MyGaming?

I'm confused as to why I, as a MyGaming forumite, cannot log into the MyBroadband site and use my same profile there. I've been active here for sometime but now if I want to post in certain specific forums over on MyBroadband I have to have a 50 post there and have been a member there for 3 months. It all seems a bit confusing to me. Can anyone shed some light?

On a side note: Is MyGaming a sister site to MyBroadband?

Sorry if this has been discussed before.
Sorry if the title is misleading...i couldn't think of a better way of putting it.

Yes, they are sister sites, but MyGaming was started much later than MyBB and they have always kept separate cos of different target focus.

Basically, they are two separate forums with two distinct communities. Aside from the technical limitations, there are numerous reasons why they must be run separately.

That's kinda hard when you have so many overlapping users.

I also wondered about this at the time I joined, as I had already been on myBB for a few years. But the more I've been here, the more I dislike that forum. Virtually every thread there has some troll like comments, so much so that there is a ratio of about 1/5, helpful comments / useless comments.
    Keep them separate imo.

Woah, I think you guys are being a little harsh. I enjoy each site for their particular focus. I generally enjoy the articles here a bit more but on myBB you are guaranteed to have a swift response to any hardware/software/buying advice queries.
