MK series has always been a less complex fighting game than SF and so far easier to get into, especially if you have buddies over to play against who wont bitch and moan when you pull out off all the fancy stuff. I've enjoyed both the SF and MK series since they began. I find SF has more longevity and room for getting better with practice though so more lasting appeal in the end.
