    Default PS3 Web Browser

With every firmware update the first thing I check for is update for the Web Browser but nadah , Are they ever going to do something about the slow browsing? Or is their an alternative way to browse?

Do you really not have any alternative to browse the Internet? I doubt anybody at Sony really imagined that somebody would be solely reliant on the PS3's web browser for Internet.

As I don't personally own a PS3, the only experience I've had with it was watching some Youtube videos at my friends house the other day. Seamed quite up to the task although it was noticeably slow. I was under the impression that it was my friends Internet at home and not the console...

Which PS3 do you have? Do you have one of the original 'big' PS3's? I was under the impression that Sony discontinued the browser in the newer consoles. Would explain why you getting no updates.

The Youtube app that launches when you view videos is good, it's not the native browser. The native browser is kak. I ALWAYS use the "Internet Search" function and then get to the page I want directly, rather than having to use the browser to go to google and then do the rest.

The Youtube App is surprisingly fast on a slow 384k connection and got me through some sleepless nights, Faster browsing would've been nice thou, . But its no biggy was just wondering why they dont bother improving it..

Could be on thier list, but if their is not complaints about it, thier is not much reaon to update it if it can run the internet as is.
