As for the update for the browser I believe it will happen not just to certain on the time frame... But i am not sure it will be upto spec when it does happen.

Although I just tested it now and didn't see any noticeable difference. Perhaps being wireless is to blame, but my laptop is a whole lot faster. Maybe it's just me, but I still won't use the PS3 browser anytime soon :/

Dont think that wireless is the problem. I just use it in some cases to stream some youtube videos.
I recently got the WD TV Live. So now I only use the PS for gaming.

Lol, me niether thought it be a while still.

As for the browser i have it hard wired it is fast and everything, but its still needs work. I didnt test it on much sites but it seems a little better not much though. Maybe they need to change it completely insted of small updates to the browser expierence.

Yeah the browser is still not up to scratch after the firmware update.
