Default what internet browser do you prefer and why? What email account do you refer and why

Hi every one: I have decided to start this thread to receive different points of views,my question to you all is this. What internet browser do you prefer and why? What email account do you prefer and why?
It is an interesting topic for me I always like to see different people 's opinions and suggestions. It is a constant thing where I work an argument over who is better and with what and its better because of this and that reason. I want to end the fight by hearing every-ones point of view.

The other classic fight we have is what anti virus is better and why?

Any thoughts to share on this topic of the day.

I use Chrome - it's simple and fast and once you get used to using the address bar (omnibox) for searching as well as typing in addresses there's no turning back. I also like the sync feature (not that that's limited to Chrome) but it's connected to my GMail account which is handy.

With regard to email - GMail works perfectly for me. The fact that I can access my email from any pc or phone is the main reason I use it but I also like the ability to link my other, old email account to my GMail account.

Oh yes... and I'm fan of Google

    Firefox...
(You can search in the address bar too, also has password and bookmarks, history synchronisation)

Found that Chrome may sometimes give "page not found" errors, and then refreshing makes it load again. Has something to do with Google's name servers which is automatically used. Unlike other browsers which use the PC's configured DNS server.

Gmail all the way for personal mail, work stuff I use Thunderbird for mail, and Outlook for Calendar.

    Browser
    At home I use: Firefox.
Reason: There was a time when Chrome just wouldn't work correctly at home and I replaced it with Firefox. Never really saw the need to go back to Chrome. Especially since I'm using some great extensions for Firefox.
    At work: Chrome
Reason: Still the fastest browser out there.

    E-mail
Personal: Gmail. Haven't found anything that compares with it. Fast, can be accessed from anywhere, lots of space etc.
Work: Outlook. Came with the job.

Firefox because it's feature rich, has add-ons that actually work properly and is generally far more compatible with sites than most browsers. Chrome unfortunately has wonky add-ons and seems to have difficulty with word-wrapping in text boxes. Fix those and I may migrate.

For e-mail, Thunderbird all the way.

    And anti-virus? MSE.

For home and work I use the same things.
I love Google so I use Chrome and Gmail, haven't had any problems with them.
For Anti Virus I use Avast Free Edition.
