Technically Minecraft was available for play back in 09....
As for the rest... they all bombed out sales wise, most where huge disappointments....
LA Noire failed to capture the way it was suppose to. If was boring, bland and predictable. It was also plagued by the stupidest game logic in a long time. Not to mention the studio behind it went bust.
Rage while pretty has a static world reminiscent of the bygone early 2000s. Its plot was weak and lacked imagination.
Homefront bombed due to lack luster gameplay, short campaign. What it did have was a good plot idea poorly realised.
Dead Island was suppose to be a mature, serious take on the Zombi-apocalypse genre which it completely disregarded and delivered your standard RPG but with Zombies.
Bulletstorm was low brow, stupid, bland, boring and the one game I regret buying this year.
So as far as I am concerned, they where disappointments.
Well you are entitles to your opinion of coursebut to most people they were pretty decent, besides Homefront, I think everyone can agree that was bad.
I liked Bulletstorm. Two things that were disappointing was it's short campaign and the lack of proper multiplayer. Granted I picked it up for cheap and I wouldn't recommend it at full price but for the brief time I spent with it I enjoyed myself.
I must be completely honest and say that I have not played a single one of these titles. I intend to do so with LA Noire and Dead Island...Minecraft maybe.
That's what she said.
The Dork Knight.
Bulletstorm had so much testosterone in it...
