Bioware genereally learns from their mistakes. So I am still hopefull they get DA3 right...

They should rather just look at DAO. Skyrim is an exploration rpg and BW games are story driven rpg's.

I can't comment on Battlefield 3 or Shogun as I've never played them. Bulletstorm was nice... I think it is how Duke Nukem should have been done, but I don't think I'd give it a spot in my top 7.
Instead of those 3, I'd rather add Batman Arkham City and even Saints Row (as I'm still playing it and not bored yet).
So, to sum up (PC platform only):

I suppose I don't have a 7th place yet. Haven't played Skyrim or BF yet and I thought that Assassin's Creed or L.A. Noire would fill that slot, but L.A. Noire started to bore me very early on and AC is ok so far, but not amazing or groundbreaking or anything like that.
No guts, no glory, no brain, same story.
