Some beautiful rooms but others are just hideous. Money evidently doesn't buy taste--they really should've hired someone to come up with the "taste" aspect for them.
Also, the little projector/movie room? lawl. That'll be comfortable after the first 10-minutes![]()
I can do way more with far lessAnyone can.
You'd be surprised how much brain surgery costs these days, especially if it's experimental.
Obviously some of the rooms require better decorating (here's looking at you, massive golden monstrosity in the conservatory), but this property really isn't about the current interior. If you could afford an abode such as this, the cost of a total interior makeover would surely be small change. You should rather look at the exterior, plus the fact that it's a 16th century building standing on grounds a bit larger than a soccer field.
After the surgery, you'd be well advised to remind your new mind to have a look at where the property is located. Location, location, location.
Hey Wolfman, since there was talk of poor taste earlier in this thread, I thought I'd set up a little experiment custom-made for you. Please comment:
(Please be advised that this is the demo version and your first two remarks are free of charge)
Pfffft.... Cape Town has far more beautiful locations, with buildings of roughly the same size that sell for far less.
Here, for example, is a beautiful house, with a beautiful view for less than R10mil. I'd take it, in a heartbeat, over some gaudy, over-priced Italian dump.
For R16mil I want a fucking vineyard attached.
Nice place. But yeah 16mil is just too much to spend on a house.
How much is that in USD?
