Well to be fair, I don't see why you guys put those zombies in the game in the first place. They don't even fit in aesthetically and there was already another type of zombie that fit perfectly.

Either way, it's all water under the bridge. Despite a few niggles here and there I'm really enjoying the game.

In at least four different ways, that's brilliant.

Let me be the first to thank you, Vintar, and the entire Dezowave team for all the hard work you put in on this project since 2008. My experience with the game has only been enjoyable; from the effortless download to the sense of discovery you feel even before leaving Sidorovich's bunker. Any rough edges are immediately dissolved away by the unmistakable S.T.A.L.K.E.R. atmosphere. The full body awareness was a welcome surpise and the improved inventory is like cinnamon pancakes.

Mr. Woofer says that the zombies "...don't even fit in aesthetically and there was already another type of zombie that fit perfectly"...? Zombies don't fit in the game but zombies fit in perfectly? Comedy! It's a good thing then that you didn't include any high horses in the game, as Woofer might just have taken a tumble off one of em and hurt his reasoning ability even further.

Thank you once more, Dezowave; I'm positive the vast majority of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fans appreciate the quality product you have allowed us to enjoy for free.

One question; did you get a professional voice actor to do the snoring, or did one of the developers' lady friends leave a mike on their pillow?

So nobody is allowed to have any criticism for your game because you released it for free? If you do not want to hear criticism about your game, feel free to remove all download links for it.

Jesus man. I'm actually saying that I really enjoy your game, but I dislike one thing in it and this now pisses you off?

Why are [strike]modders[/strike] stand-alone game developers always so full of drama? You see the same thing on Nexus with Skyrim mods. If you've got even a single criticism for a mod, the modder freaks out and you likely get banned from the forums.

It's comedic because the point of my post flew entirely over your head.

In the old games there were zombified STALKERS. They fit the theme of the game. Dezowave added a new type of zombie that was cut and which I feel does not fit the theme of the game. They look a bit like they come from Doom 3.

Next time you want to accuse someone of being on a high horse, make sure your reading comprehension is up to scratch and that you get off your own high horse first.

Glad you're enjoying the game Woofer. If you find the zombies disagreeable, just picture them naked.

I can't get myself to dislike someone who appreciates the zone, but I do feel that I should say something offensive to he who has failed to thank the developers of Lost Alpha. Let's see, um... My horse is higher than yours so, yeah.

Juice, how's your Lost Alpha adventure been going? Have you tried out the latest patch?
For that matter, how is everyone else's LA game session been?
Please keep all extremities tucked in...

Why do we get pissed off? The list is endless. Personally I`ve worked on this game for four years, using all my spare time possible, sleepless nights mostly. We don't ask anything in exchange for this game, nor we do complain at the working hours. This is our passion, our vision. I live and breathe Lost Alpha. People don't like it, don't play it. Simple as. We welcome "constructive" criticism. You don't think zombies fit? Well we do and that's why they're there.

At the end of the day, I believe very few people in South Africa enjoy STALKER. No idea why, it's the best damn game series ever.

Vintar, what in your eyes constitutes constructive criticism? From where I'm sitting, there's nothing wrong with what Clive said. Hell, he was praising your game except for one single aspect he didn't like. And yet you freak out at him while claiming to welcome constructive criticism. The worst part of this is that your reputation precedes you on this. While discussing this game on RPGCodex a while back someone mentioned being attacked by one of the developers for giving his honest opinion on the game. Another person immediately asked if it was Vintar, because you apparently make a habit of exploding at anyone who so much as says anything remotely negative or critical of your game. I'm a bit saddened to see they weren't exaggerating.

Vintar, you're going to have to learn to take criticism. I know exactly how much it sucks when you pour hours of your life into a project every day for years and then have people criticize aspects of it. I think most of us have been there at some point or another, when we spent long periods of time working on something we're passionate about and then have people criticize it afterwards. Granted, most of us didn't have something with the scope of Lost Alpha, but we have been in similar situations. Unfortunately, that's how real life works. We can't expect our projects to remain criticism-free simply because we spent a lot of time and poured a lot of our passions into it. The moment we put the fruits of our labor into the public domain, we open it to scrutiny and that's never going to change. We can either learn to handle and use criticism, or we can keep getting angry and embittered about by it.

I was going to offer up some of my own opinions when I had more time this morning, because as far as I'm aware your game is still in beta (?) and I feel there are areas where you can make improvements before final release, but I think maybe I would be better off posting them on your official forums.
