There are plenty of war games and war comedies and other movies and books about war which don't care about being accurate but rather become comfortable with what they are, entertainment. I think as long as you are clear about that fact then I don't see the problem.

Also that ODST commercial is good.

I completely agree with you, people can't take this things to be an accurate representation of what war is actually like.

I saw an interview with a soldier who claimed he joined up because of Call Of Duty. He got a nasty shock lol.

Some journalist had a go on twitter too the other day. "Glorifying war", "makes me sick" blah, blah, blah

IMO, I dont really see the big fuss because the very fact that it's a GAME shout already show you that it's not exactly realistic. But seeing from where the Army Vet came from and all his experiences I'd have to say that I can see his concern about the issue.
