The cops are much, much, much more realistic. If you kill somebody when you know there are no cops around you will not run the risk of a one star as often as you would in GTA4. The cops will use smoke and tear gas, dogs, riot gear and rams to knock down the doors of buildings you are hiding in.

True or not, it sounds feasible. Really looking forward to GTA V.

Oh dear... There aren't enough black protagonists in games but if this turns into another San Andreas with the whole African-American gangster stereotyping, then regardless of how formidable a game this is, consider my interest zero.

Unless your character actually locks the door behind him when entering a building, this will be stupid. I can see that happening in a scripted event but if you hide a building to get away from the helicopters and they come ramming through an unlocked door...

I can agree with this, but I should add that I played Vice City and San Andreas on PC before I touched them on consoles. They weren't bad there. I have no experience with GTA IV in that regard though.

But you do have a point there. I think these sandbox games are a little more console focused.
