DNF was "made" by soul-less fucks at 3DRealms and then passed around like a porn mag in prison to about a billion different developers, didn't expect much from it except some new catchy one-liners.

Black Mesa should be good and actually get made. 7 years is a long time for them to just go "fuckit let's leave it!"

I agree 110%. They're pushing on with a massive project that they're not getting paid for, now that is a "Labour of Love". I'm going to be an optimist on this 1.

That's not correct afaik, 3D Realms were the only people to ever work on DNF until they closed and Gearbox took over. Even then all they did was basically made it 'ready for release' and push it out largely untouched.
