I usually chill on the couch with my feet up. But that's the nice thing about console gaming.

I must say though that my old chair at the office screwed my back up for a good year. If you're sitting for long periods of time, it's a must to have a good chair.

Lets talk about the car seat idea.

what does a seat cost at a scrapyard? - R500?
which seats are comfortable? - i`m thinking one of those old mercs. Racing seats will look nice though.. are they comfy?
what to mount it on? - an office seat chair base might be too flimsy
    armrests?

That chair in the last pic, I got it as a birthday present. Was so stoked thought it was going to be so comfy and it was until two months later when the plastic arm rest broke at two places and I'm not a big dude (75kg). Lesson learnt, never get a chair that has any plastic for support!

A racing bucket chair sounds so dam unconfy.

Why not look at some truck seats car seats don't really fancy them for long hours, also just feels too huge for a smallish game room.

Had exactly the same chair as my first "proper" leather chair and it also broke... and the arm rests keep the chair together. Also, I could feel the screws from the bottom... not enough padding.

I have had 2 chairs since then, also plastic arm rests, but considerable better quality. I suppose you get what you pay for. That chair with the arm rests that broke was the cheapest of the lot.

No guts, no glory, no brain, same story.
