You should keep in mind that a lot of these services are running off multiple servers - the filesharing sites in particular run from various locations around the world. Try pinging some of those file-sharing services - you'll get different IPs for most of them.
And in Megaupload's case the IP isn't going to help - the site's been taken down completely.
