Apparently launching end Jan although most places have said 12th of Feb, how true that is I don't know.
Price wise I am taking a guess here but I reckon around R4500, again depending how suppliers and resellers price them..we almost always get taken for a ride in this Dump.

As far as performance goes, if the 7970 is anything to go by these will be awesome cards and they will almost certainly beat anything in the Nvidia stable, not to mention the great over clocking headroom.

I got my 7970 last week and truth be told its a beast. Still not happy with the price but it should drop with in the next month or so.

I'm waiting for word on the 7870 (going to be a while before that most likely). I'm still a bit of a budget gamer. Any idea on how that card will do performance wise? Yeah, we're always milked for every penny in this dump.
