There are some texture mods if that helps.

    Good luck
There are also mods for Mass Effect 2. Does that make it an old game?

lol! Not at all. But a lot of people are really picky when it comes to (significantly) dated graphics. Deus Ex is very dated. We're talking hands without independent digits, mouths that are essentially two triangles that open and shut, etc.

It's dated, has old mechanics and feels old.

BUT it's still an excellent game for anyone who can accept that (not many ).

Yup. It's one of my all-time favourite games.

Although, if I were you, I'd rather just grab it through Steam for $9.99 than buy it at Incredible Connection. You could also get the Deus Ex pack which includes the second game, Invisible War, for $20.

Point was just, if you can't get over the graphics (I know nothing about your tastes or how demanding you are about these sorts of things) then you'd probably give it five minutes and drop it.

If that's the case, Darksiders and Devil May Cry 4 are the way to go. Lots of actiony goodness and gorshiss graphics

I'm actually strongly considering that, but I need tog et through the first two hours first. If I have to play that part again I think I might just pop an artery.

True. I found the game enjoyable only after Sheppard becomes a spectre.
