The Do Gaming Leagues are really picking up, with little over two weeks before registrations close.
Currently MW3 is leading the way with BF3 right behind it.
The Score currently: (28 Teams - 336 Players) BF3 VS MW3 (424 Players - 53 Teams)
Battlefield 3:
The Battlefield 3 league which has R100,000 in cash prizes sponsored by Gaming Inc and EA South Africa has proven to be very popular. Currently there are 28 teams registered. Thats 336 players.
COD MW3:
The Modern Warfare 3 PC league which has R60,000 in cash prizes sponsored by Monster Energy Drinks and Megarom has 53 clans registered. Thats 424 players.
COD4:
The COD4 league, which is our longest running league (this is its 5th season/year) has 29 clans registered, with many more still to join up.
StarCraft II:
On the RTS side of things the SC2 community have really come out to represent. The SC2 league currently has 137 players registered for the 1v1 league.
Racing Leagues:
GranTurismo is currently leading Forza 4 with 56 players registered. Forza 4 is catching GT5, with 32 players now registered.
We have decided to put the rFactor league on hold as the rFactor 2 open beta has just been released and everyone is now playing that.
Football:
Our two FIFA 12 leagues are going strong. PS3 leads the way with 60 players while the Xbox 360 community trail behind with 28. We expect many more to register in the coming days.
MW3 PS3 & Xbox and GOW3 for Xbox:
We have been working closely with the communities from these two games to develop the rulesets. Both cups have started to see clans register for the events. We're hoping to see some great things from these three communities.
